Venue

Burl's Creek Park

Burl's Creek Park has been the home of the largest automotive flea market in North America, and many other large scale special events, for the past 25 years. Located on 350 pristine acres of Ontario greenspace, the beautiful surroundings make this venue a perfect location for Jack Johnson and his touring support acts to kick off the second leg of their North American tour.

Food and Beverage Service

There is a wide variety of food vendors on site that will offer a number of different menu items for purchase. There will be something for everyone, with more details on the food and beverage options to come. Licensed areas will be in operation throughout the grounds. You must be 19+ years of age and have government issued photo ID to enter the licensed areas.

Emergency Services

During the course of the event (including the camping operating hours,) licensed crowd management security guards, Ontario Provincial Police, Oro Fire Department staff and fully-trained and experienced paramedics will all be on hand to assist with any incidents that may arise. Emergency response team members will be easily accessible throughout the entire site, at all hours of operation.

Parking & Camping

Day of show (Aug. 3, 2008) parking is available for free on the grounds of Burl's Creek, starting at 8:00am that morning. There are 2 hours between the time the event gates open (4:00pm) and the start of the touring performances (6:00pm). Please plan ahead and leave your home or cottage early, in order to gain access into the parking lots and the venue in time to enjoy the entire line up of performers. For public transit information please go to the Go Green page by clicking here. Camping is available on the evenings of Aug. 2 and 3, 2008. More details can be found on our Camping page by clicking here. Pre-purchased tickets (available through Ticketmaster) are required in order to gain access to the camping area.

Garbage/Recycling and Sanitary Facilities

A full recycling and composting program will be in place for all paper, aluminum, glass and organic waste. In the spirit of the Jack Johnson tour, and in partnership with local businesses, Burl's Creek Park will be working hard to reduce the environmental impact of this concert. You can find out more about our initiatives and how you can help at our Go Green page by clicking here.
